ReporterEmma Albright is half-French and half-American and has lived her whole life in France. Her mother is originally from Brittany and her father from Louisiana, US. After completing a masters in bilingual journalism (French/English) at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle, she worked for the website Worldcrunch for three years and then joined The Local in January 2026. In her free time, she enjoys going to museums, cycling, rock climbing and watching movies. Emma is the only member of staff at the The Local France who can properly pronounce the letter r in French words.
