Wow. Amending the constitution just because of the “other”. How very populistic. I stand corrected, but have there been any figures given to demonstrate the need of such a drastic move? How many dual citizens have "seriously damage(d) Sweden's vital interests”? One, 10? 1,000? 10,000? Do the numbers justify changing a constitution? What constitutes “serious damage”? Who gets to determine that, and how often or frequently can the damage list be updated? Why stop there? Why not go Israeli on dual citizens and extend whatever punitive measures to family members of individuals accused of causing serious damage to Sweden’s vital interests? Lol…I probably shouldn’t give them more ideas ... This is no different to un-adopting an adopted child.

So funny how populist politics minded people don’t get what a slippery slope it is to implement it. Criminals should be prosecuted, yes, we can even change laws around it, but stripping citizenship based on vague laws is extremely extremely concerning and a very bad precedent

Good move

V is just the SvD of the left. I don't understand protecting criminals that harm Swedish national interests when there is an option to hold them accountable in an appropriate way

So will the opposition try to use the same approach to fail this vote? I bet no. Hence all this BS about how Swedish Democrats broke the "rules" is just drama
