Philippe Tabarot said that the cancellations - to allow staff time to remove snow from runways and de-ice planes - will affect flights scheduled between 9am and 2pm at Charles de Gaulle, and those scheduled between 6am and 1pm at Orly.
This amounts to around 140 flights cancelled, and comes as five airports in western France - Nantes, Brest, La Rochelle, Saint-Nazaire and Vatry - remain closed at least until Wednesday lunchtime.
Passengers with flights booked are advised to contact their airlines.
