Denmark's vaccination rate has overtaken that of the UK

Denmark's per capita vaccination rate has this month overtaken that of the UK, despite the country's decision to pull the AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson jabs.

According to data collected by OurWorldinData, Denmark's per capita vaccination rate overtook that of the UK on July 29th, with the lead increasing to 129.37 per 100,000, compared to the UK's 126.18 by August 4th. 

Denmark is also now one of the six EU countries which has overtaken the UK in terms of the share of the population who are fully vaccinated.
