Sweden to respond to Russia's expulsion of Swedish envoy
Foreign Minister Ann Linde told Swedish public broadcaster SVT that Sweden, Poland and Germany will coordinate their response and shortly respond "in a clear way" to Russia's decision to expel diplomats from the three countries.
Russia claims that the Swedish diplomat took part in a demonstration on January 23rd in support of jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny. Linde said the diplomat had observed, not actively taken part in, the demonstration, and called the Russian move "completely unacceptable".

Snow storm hits southern Sweden
Police were called out to a spate of accidents in southern region Skåne on Sunday, after a snow storm moved in. National weather agency SMHI issued a class-two warning (on a scale from one to three), which was downgraded in the early hours of Sunday.
But the snow still caused problems, with in total four accidents reported on the E65 between Skurup and Skabersjö, and a truck went off the road north of Ystad. But the TT newswire writes there were no reports of injuries.

New Covid-19 test rules for foreign travellers
New border rules came into force on Saturday, which means people travelling to Sweden from any country are required to show a negative Covid-19 test, although several exceptions apply. The tests should be no older than 48 hours.
One of the exceptions include foreign citizens who live in Sweden, and police confirm this includes "foreign citizens who are residents according to the Swedish Population Registry, hold a valid residence permit, residence right or residence status".
The Public Health Agency confirms that antigen tests, PCR tests and LAMP tests are all approved, and the certificate should be in Swedish, English, Norwegian and Danish.
Everyone is without exception urged to get tested on arrival and again on the fifth day in Sweden, and avoid contacts for a week.

Person in intensive care after being shot by police
A person is being treated in intensive care in Luleå, northern Sweden, after a police officer fired their weapon at them, reports the TT news agency.
Few details about the incident or the people involved have been released, but it is understood to have happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, during a car chase. The person drove into one of the police officers, and the officer then fired their weapon and the person was hit.
Police would not reveal on Sunday afternoon whether the police officer who was hit by the vehicle was in hospital or not.
