Summer weather to continue across Switzerland this week
While the shadows are growing longer and the nights are becoming crisper, there are still some warm days to come all across Switzerland.
Despite entering the second week of meteorological autumn, several regions of Switzerland will register temperatures in the 20s this week.
Swiss news outlet Watson reports that temperatures will scrape 30 this week.
On Wednesday, the mercury is set to reach 28 degrees in Valais, 27 in Basel and 23 along the Swiss Plateau.
In the southern canton of Ticino, temperatures are set to hit a minimum of 16 degrees through the evening.
Despite cooling late on Wednesday, warm weather lovers are set for a treat as the week goes on.
On the weekend temperatures will reach 25 degrees in north-eastern Switzerland and 29 degrees in western Switzerland.
In Ticino, 27 degrees is forecast for the weekend.
