Norwegian to restart 13 flights from Sweden in July
Airline Norwegian will restart a total of 76 flights from July 1st, including ten international flights from Sweden and three Swedish domestic routes.
Like many airlines, Norwegian drastically reduced its traffic due to global travel restrictions and low demand as the coronavirus spread around the world.
From June 17th, it will be mandatory to wear face masks onboard Norwegian's flights. Read more about how the airline is reacting to the coronavirus outbreak here.
"I have a positive message for everyone who wants to travel with Norwegian this summer. We are resuming flights to a number of destinations that customers have requested. Now that our competitors have started with large parts of their offerings, we also want to join and contribute to society slowly returning to a more normal one. We have also introduced a number of measures to further reduce an already low contagion risk on board," said Norwegian CEO Jacob Schram.
From July 1st, 12 aircraft will be put into operation in addition to the eight planes which have continued to operate domestic routes within Norway during the outbreak.
These are the flights set to start in and from Sweden from July 1st, all departing from Stockholm Arlanda:
