Some protesters were given four-week bans from taking part in demonstrations as a result of attending the demonstrations.

Due to the coronavirus restrictions, gatherings of more than five people are banned - with no exception for demonstrations.

The rules are expected to be further relaxed on June 8th, with confirmation to come in a meeting of the federal government on May 27th.
