Tell us: What are you doing on Brexit day?
Brits and other readers, will you do something to mark the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union on January 31st? Tell us your plans.
In practice, not much will immediately change for Brits in Sweden on January 31st. On that day, all UK citizens who do not have dual nationality will lose their status as EU citizens, but a transition period will begin, during which they have the right to largely continue their lives as they have done previously.
If you are in that situation, you can read more about what you have to do in this article.
Of course, in a broader sense, everything changes.
Are you doing anything to mark the day, whether you are a Leaver who are celebrating the occasion or a Remainer spending an evening of mourning with friends, or simply raising a glass to the days gone by?
