If you're applying for Danish citizenship, you'll have to take a test on your new country's history, politics and culture.

Since 2015, the Danish citizenship test (indfødsretsprøven), held twice annually, has consisted of 40 multiple choice questions on Danish culture, history and society.

The real test can only be taken in Danish, but we've compiled 20 questions for you to try out based on a previous test,  made public by the Ministry of Immigration and Integration.

The pass mark on the real test is 32/40 – the equivalent of 16 out of 20 in our quiz.

It should be noted that the 40 questions in the actual citizenship test cover a broader range of topics and styles than those covered here, so please don't take our quiz as any certain measure of your ability to pass the real thing.
