Stockholm is growing faster than ever so you might assume this leaves little room to think about the climate. You'd be wrong. Sweden's construction industry has found climate-saving ways to build bigger, better, and more beautiful offices and homes.
From trailblazing projects such as Östermalm's stunning Backåkra 2 – so-called plus energy houses that can sell some of the energy they generate on the electricity grid – to the retrofitted offices of Sergelhuset, construction companies are pulling out all the stops to build the climate-friendly city of tomorrow.
