On the trail of the Italian Resistance in Milan

The traces of World War Two are everywhere in Italy – even if they're increasingly ignored. Cartoonist Adam Rugnetta takes us on an anti-fascist tour of his adopted city, Milan.

A history teacher as well as an illustrator, Rugnetta has been researching the sites of atrocities committed by the Nazis and their Fascist allies, as well as the locations important to the Resistance fighters who risked their lives to oppose them.
