Book Club: Join us at our May event in Stockholm
Come and chat about May's book and all things Sweden- or reading-related at our second Book Club event in Stockholm.
The Local Sweden recently launched a Book Club to help our readers learn about Sweden through reading. After our first event last month, where we met in Stockholm to listen to a talk on legendary Swedish author Astrid Lindgren's life, we're pleased to announce the second event.
We'll be at The English Bookshop in Södermalm, Stockholm after work from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, May 22nd.
May's book is Quicksand by Malin Persson-Giolito, and you're welcome to join if you haven't read the book but please be aware you will hear spoilers! There will be time to mingle with Book Club members and The Local's team, and of course to browse the books on sale, including our June pick which Book Club members will have a chance to vote for soon.
The event is free but places are limited, so please sign up HERE.
