IN PICTURES: Tour Sweden's natural wonders with this landscape photographer
Landscape and lifestyle photographer Flar Foster's epic photos of Sweden aren't to be missed. He takes The Local through some of his favourites and shares a few Swedish photography tips.
Initially it was a "challenge or even an experiment," to become a photographer, Foster explains. Four years ago he set the goal of going "from a person who knew how to use only auto mode (on the camera)," to becoming a professional.
A recent trip to Sweden's largest waterfall Tännforsen left an impression. "In the summer you feel its power, and in winter it turns everything around into a winter fairy tale."

After a few years, he has discovered numerous places he would recommend for budding photographers such as the area around Olden, Sulviken, the Mörsil kyrka area, Vigge, Randijaur, Ersnäs, Ratan, and Norrbyn.
"In the winter you definitely need to visit Lapland, and at the end of the summer there are very beautiful fields of wheat not yet cleaned in the south."

The photographer's adventures have covered trips to everywhere from the ski resort of Åre in the north, to the southern plains near Malmö, so he's no stranger to Sweden’s natural treasures. But there is still plenty left to discover.
