The strike, called by the UNSA union, will hit flights between Monday March 6th and Friday March 10th.

It was not clear when exactly on those days the strike would start and end.

France’s civil aviation authority has asked airlines to cancel flights in order to reduce the amount of air traffic during strike days.

Air traffic controllers working at airports in Brest, Bordeaux and Aix-en-Provence will stage the walk-out over a dispute surrounding working hours and conditions, but will flights across the country will be affected including those in and out of Paris.

Initial reports suggest between one quarter and one third of flights over France could be hit, particularly those in and out of the west and the south of the country.

As usual passengers are advised to contact their airlines to find out out of they will be affected.
