It’s been a couple of weeks since Switzerland joined several other countries around the world in producing a video mocking US President Donald Trump.

‘Switzerland Second’ was a social media sensation and has now had nearly 11 million views on YouTube.

But it seems the country isn’t ready to stop mocking just yet.

Now, Geneva newspaper La Tribune de Genève has produced its own video introducing Trump to the city of Calvin.

With an English commentary voiced in a strong French accent by local comedian Laurent Nicolet, ‘Geneva Second’ welcomes Trump to Geneva whilst mocking some of the things that both the president and the city are famous for.

“Walls? You like them right?” says Nicolet, showing Geneva’s famous Reformation Wall before offering to sell it to the US President.

“Savoyards, it’s like Mexicans, we kicked their arse in 1602,” it continues, referring to the Duke of Savoy’s thwarted attack on the city which is commemorated every December in the Escalade Festival

The skit goes on to mock Geneva’s annual motor show, where scantily clad women are used to show off the cars.

“We like women and respect them very much. You can grab them by the Peissy,” it says, referring to a village near Geneva known for its winemakers.

It also extols the virtues of Geneva’s Cointrin airport, showing a screengrab of the ‘dictator tracker’ Twitter page launched to track the leaders of authoritarian regimes flying into the city

“Now it’s your turn. Geneva is your perfect fit,” adds the video.

It ends by showing the city’s famous jet d’eau lit up in yellow.

“It’s simply the biggest... our high pressure golden shower,” it proclaims.

The city isn’t the only area of the country to jump on the bandwagon. The canton of Valais has also produced its own ‘Wallis Zweite’ video. But given it’s produced in the local Wallisisch dialect, it’s unlikely to bother President Trump too much.
