Can't think of anything to do in Sweden this weekend? Here are some ideas, including our regular interactive calendar featuring loads of other events.

1. Something to look at

Austrian-born architect Josef Frank moved to Sweden just before World War Two and became one of the Nordic country's most well-known and beloved designers. Some of his most fascinating work is being put on show at the Millesgården gallery on Stockholm's Lidingö island this spring and summer. The exhibition opens on Saturday.

Where: Millesgården, Herserudsvägen 2,

When: May 21st-October 2nd

2. Something to eat

Sweden's southernmost region, Skåne, which is world-famous for its up-and-coming food scene, is organizing its annual food festival on the picturesque Österlen peninsula. Sure, there will be trendy food trucks there (if you haven't had enough of the food truck craze), but we suggest you focus on sampling the abundance of local traditional produce. This time of the year Skåne is particularly famous for its green and white asparagus.

Where: Brösarp, Österlen, Skåne

When: May 20th-22nd

3. Something to do

GöteborgsVarvet on Sweden's west coast is the world's largest half marathon, with over 64,000 registered runners and more than 200,000 supporters cheering them on. If you haven't quite got on board with Sweden's running and fitness hype yet, just wave your friends as they get jogging and go and grab a coffee in western Sweden's coolest cafe city.

Where: Gothenburg

When: May 21st

4. Something to listen to

American artist Tyler Hilton may be most well-known for his part on US teen drama 'One Tree Hill' and as Elvis Presley in the Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk the Line', but he is also forging a career of his own in music. He will be singing songs from his latest album 'Indian Summer' when he takes the stage at the Bryggarsalen venue in Stockholm this weekend. Last time we looked, there still appeared to be tickets left on Billetto.

Where: Bryggarsalen, Norrtullsgatan 12N, Stockholm

When: May 19th, 8pm
