Competition for housing in Stockholm is fierce - so how do expats go about finding home, sweet home?
Home is where the heart is - but that doesn't always mean the heart of the city.
Expat Mihaela Novac had heard all about the housing crisis, but was quickly able to find the perfect home for her family just a short commute from the office of Tinitell, the startup where she was hired.
"We thought the suburbs and outskirts of Stockholm would be similar to London, and that living outside the city centre would mean a lengthy, stressful commute each day," Ela Novac says.
But she quickly discovered that wasn't the case - and Stockholm's true gems lie outside the city centre.
