German teacher killed in concert hall attack
The second German victim of Isis terror attacks in Paris has been identified as a 51-year-old teacher from Hannover who lived and worked in France.
Bild reported that Fabian Stech, who was married to a French lawyer and had two children, was killed by gunfire in the Bataclan theatre, where the terrorists attacked a concert by Californian band Eagles of Death Metal.
"We are stunned and unbelievably sad," his family said in a statement. "He was a fantastic person, full of fondness for art, always curious about others, full of love. We will miss him endlessly."
Stech worked in Dijon at a small Catholic private school and was also France correspondent for German cultural magazine Kunstforum.
"We will miss his spirit and his eye", his colleagues at the magazine wrote in a Facebook post.
