Wanted Colombian DJ arrested in Italy: police
A Colombian DJ popular with the stars but
wanted by Interpol for alleged drug trafficking has been arrested in Italy, Colombian police said on Wednesday.
DJ "Fexter," whose real name is Fernsterbein Fernando Ramirez, was arrested earlier this week in the northeastern Italian city of Udine.
Police dubbed him "one of the most dangerous offenders" in San Andres, a Colombian island in the Caribbean, but he had lived in Italy since 2013 after fleeing the law.
Though police say that he maintained links to Colombian drug traffickers and allege that he was head of the "Los Mellos" criminal gang, which is accused of mass murder, the sale of narcotics and extortion.
Police in Italy and Colombia have launched investigations into the Colombian.
