IN PICTURES: Berlusconi joins Instagram
Silvio Berlusconi has finally succumbed to the image-sharing site Instagram, posting over 60 photos in just 24 hours.
The former prime minister and leader of the centre-right Forza Italia party, joined the site on Tuesday and has already become an active member of the social network.
Over 60 photos have already been published on the media mogul’s account, which takes the name SilvioBerlusconi2015.
They include photos of the politician in Puglia as part of Forza Italia’s regional election campaign as well as more intimate snaps of the politician with his girlfriend Francesca Pasquale and their beloved pooch Dudù.
By Thursday the account had attracted over 12,000 followers and hundreds of comments, mostly positive.
Long plagued by legal woes, the 78-year-old was in March acquitted by Italy’s top court for paying for underage sex with a starlet nicknamed "Ruby the Heart Stealer".
