Denmark faces three bomb threats in one day

A university, a hospital and a public school were the targets of three bomb threats delivered within a span of less than four hours on Tuesday.
Police in Jutland were kept busy on Tuesday by responding to three separate bomb threats.
The first was a letter containing a bomb threat that was delivered to Aarhus University’s School of Business just after 9am. The university’s students and staff were informed of the threat, but East Jutland Police quickly determined that it was a false alarm.
Just after 11am, a man called the Southern Jutland Police and made a bomb threat against Rødding School in Vejen Municipality. The school was evacuated “nice and easy and without panic”, according to a police press release.
Bomb-sniffing dogs were sent to the school and police shortly thereafter arrested a local 36-year-old man.
“The man was very undramatically arrested when he left his residence,” police said.
The third bomb threat of the day was aimed at Aalborg University Hospital. According to the North Jutland Police, the threat was delivered by phone just before 12.30pm by a 33-year-old woman who police characterized as “mentally unbalanced”. Police said the woman has made previous threats before and after searching the hospital’s Section South they quickly determined that there was no threat.
