Get your swimsuits and poker faces ready. Budget airline Norwegian has announced three new destinations from Copenhagen: San Juan, St. Croix and Las Vegas.

Copenhagen-area travellers will have three new destinations to look forward to come November.

Norwegian airline announced Tuesday that it will begin offering direct flights to Las Vegas, Nevada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It will also fly to St Croix in the US Virgin Islands in combination with the San Juan route.

Copenhagen is the only Scandinavian city to get the new routes and Norwegian will become the only airline offering flights to all three destinations. Norwegian will also fly to Puerto Rico from Stockholm, Oslo and London and will open a Stockholm-Las Vegas route.

“Norwegian’s long-distance routes are very popular and we are very satisfied to offer our passengers brand-new destinations in the Caribbean and the US,” Norwegian spokesman Thomas Ramdahl said.

“We are also happy to give Danish passengers the opportunity to travel to St. Croix, a part of the former Danish West Indies,” he added.

Norwegian’s flights from Copenhagen to Puerto Rico and St Croix will begin operations on November 6, while flights to Las Vegas will commence on November 10. The airline will offer one departure each week to the new destinations. Introductory prices will begin at 1,699 kroner one-way.

For those travellers not interested in a long haul, newly-arrived Ryanair also announced three new routes from Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The budget airline's CEO Michael O'Leary said on Tuesday that Ryanair will add routes to Budapest, Malaga and Alicante.
