Nicole Bobillier vanished from her home at 101 Avenue du Bois-de-la-Chapelle in Onex, a suburb west of the city of Geneva, police said in a statement on Monday.

The woman, pictured wearing glasses, is between 165 and 170 centimetres tall and of an average to robust build.

Police had no information about what kind of clothing the woman, who was born in France, was wearing.

Anyone who may have seen Bobillier is asked to contact police on 41 22 427 81 11 or to visit the nearest police station.

Meanwhile, in another missing person case, a 13-year-old Romanian girl identified as Iovuta who went missing from the city of Lausanne on March 14th, surfaced in France on the weekend.

The teenager turned herself into a police station in an unidentified municipality, Vaud cantonal police said.

The girl was reunited with her family in good health, police said without providing further details.
