Mysterious snow art baffles ski patrol
Skiers got more than they bargained for early Friday morning on the slopes of Sonnenkopf ski-field in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg, when they were confronted with giant graffiti in the snow.
Pranksters had carved a giant male organ onto the snow, at an angle which could be monitored by the TV "Weather Panorama" cameras, shown on morning television on the national channel.
Operations manager Bernd Weitgasser took the matter with good humour: "Apparently someone has made a joke".
Weitgasser announced an immediate "amputation". He hoped "that it does not happen again."
As images of the webcam show, the unconventional illustration was removed on Friday morning by the ski patrol.
