Mads Gilbert wants to return to Israel
Norwegian Doctor Mads Gilbert has vowed to overturn his Israel ban and return to Gaza to help victims of the troubles, it was reported on Friday.
Following the announcement that Gilbert was forbidden entry to Gaza for life by the Israeli government, the doctor has gone on record to declare he will fight to return to a conflict zone he has been working in for more than 30 years.
Israel regards the 67-year-old Norwegian as a threat to their nation's security, but doctor Gilbert pleads his innocence.
“I’m a doctor, I’m no security threat. I have done nothing wrong, I have never broken Israeli law or taken part in illegal activities. I have had valid travel documents from the state of Israel.” said Gilbert to NRK.
