Spain's public holidays in 2015: Official list
Spain will have a total of eight fully national public holidays in 2015 with one of these falling on a Saturday. For the full list and more information on regional holidays read on.
According to the information published on Friday in Spain's BOE official state bulletin, the eight national public holidays in 2015 are:
January 1st: (Thursday)
January 6th: (Epiphany, Tuesday)
April 3rd: (Good Friday)
May 1st: (Labour Day, Friday)
August 15th: (Assumption of Mary, Saturday)
October 12th (Spanish National Day, Monday)
December 8th: (Immaculate Conception, Tuesday).
December 25th: (Christmas Day, Friday)
Apart from these national dates, all regions have at least one further weekday holiday at Easter. November 2nd and December 7th (both Mondays) are also holidays in many regions making ‘puente’ (bridge) long weekends.
