Fedor Holz, who plays under the name CrownUpGuy, had something of a break-out year in 2014, winning €2,000 in the European Poker Tour season opener in Barcelona last month. He has been playing poker for three years.

The Online Poker tournament, which boasted a $10 million guarantee, attracted a total of 2,142 players

“I feel great. I always wanted to run deep in such a tournament and it feels amazing to win the biggest tournament of the year. It's my biggest achievement so far and I can't put in words how happy I am that I am that fortunate,” he told Poker Stars Blog after his win.

He said that he plans to buy a house for his family with the money, “it would increase their living quality and it would make me really happy to see that. I can now make that happen - that was my main motivation and I can't put in words how much that means to me.”
