Danish dad tortures sons (in best possible way)

Video of a man telling his sons that he's won 15 million kroner has racked up over two million views in just two days.
Have you ever thought about what you’d do if you won the lottery? Instant shopping spree? Quit your job in a blaze of glory? For Danish father Poul Hjortbøl, his reaction to winning 15 million kroner ($2.6 million) was to secretly record himself slowly revealing the news to his teenage sons and showering them with cash and gifts. In a video that was recorded in 2011 but first uploaded to YouTube on Monday, Hjortbøl sits his sons down at the dining room table with champagne and strawberries to break the news. But he takes his sweet time doing it.
“Boys, I’ve really been looking forward to seeing you,” he says at the outset of the video. “I have won a little bit of money. Enough that I can give you some things here this evening. Here’s 5,000 kroner,” he says to his excited sons. But things keep getting better. He gives them new iPads and more cash as he slowly works up to the big reveal. As his sons continuously ask "How much did you win?" and shout “Oh my god,” the moment finally comes. “Are you ready?” Hjortbøl asks, as he hands them proof of the total winnings of 15 million kroner. The video is being released now in conjunction with a book that features the stories of several Danish lotto winners. Hjortbøl told T2’s Go’ morgen Danmark that he still gets emotional when he sees the clip. “I hadn’t seen it myself in two and a half years because every time I saw it I began to cry and get goosebumps. I still do,” he said. The video has been seen by well over two million people since Monday.
