Despite loss, Wozniacki up in world rankings

A final spot in Tokyo on Sunday resulted in Wozniacki moving two places forward on the WTA Women's World Tennis Ranking this week.
Denmark's tennis darling Caroline Wozniacki has been rewarded for her amazing run of late, which brought her to the finals in both the US Open a few weeks back and the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo this weekend, where she was defeated by Serbian Ana Ivanovic in the final 2-6, 6-7 (2-7). As a result of her hot hand, Wozniacki has moved up two spots on the recently published WTA Women's Tennis Ranking, coming in at number seven.
