The number of applicants for the coming season of Paradise Hotel outpaced the number who sought an education as a teacher.

More young Danes would rather frolic half naked in front of rolling cameras than stand fully-clothed in front of a classroom, according to news site Dagens.dk.

The site reports that well over 2,500 people applied to take part in the next season of reality TV show Paradise Hotel, while 2,512 students applied for a teacher education as their first preference of study.

Last year, the reality show received over 3,000 applications.

Paradise Hotel has aired for ten seasons, with an eleventh coming in the spring. In the show, contestants compete to see who can remain the longest in a luxury hotel in Mexico.
