Two people were shot on Tuesday morning near Copenhagen's Town Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen), leaving one dead and one in critical condition.

"Two people were shot. One is in critical condition, while the other has died" Copenhagen Police wrote in a press release just before 11.30am.

The shooting took place inside the bailiff's court (Fogedretten) on the street Hestemøllerstræde
