Porsche found in river with body at wheel
A Porsche apparently crashed into a river in Carinthia's Lavant Valley in the district of Wolfsberg in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Regional police spokesman Thomas Payer confirmed the report that a road maintenance team had discovered a broken guardrail, and investigated, finding the vehicle upside down in fast-flowing water.
A police and fire brigade rescue team found a body at the wheel of the Porsche. The body of the driver has not yet been identified, however the Wolfsberg license plate suggests that the man is local to the area.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time, but is currently being investigated.
