The British International School of Stockholm announced on Monday that it will be accepting students up to 13 years of age this autumn.
The British International School of Stockholm (BISS) will begin taking children up to 13 years of age this August. By 2017 the school plans to expand further to take students up to age 16.
A new school building will be added for the expansion, located alongside Danderyds Gymnasium. The current site will remain a primary school location.
The school, which was founded in 1980, has thus far been a primary school hosing up to 500 children from ages three to nine, from over 45 nationalities. The BISS curriculum was originally based on the British system, but most studies now are rooted in the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
