Police seize guns and crystal meth in Oslo raid
Police seized weapons and drugs in a raid last weekend that took place only 250 metres from a police station in central Oslo.
Six weapons and a stash of crystal meth were found in an apartment in Grønland run by a criminal gang made up of members from the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
Four people were arrested after the find, including a 49-year-old man who has previously been sentenced to four years in prison for shooting a police officer in Oslo
Police found around one kilogram of the drug crystallized metamphetamine, three automatic weapons, a hand gun, a revolver, a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition.
Kåre Stølen, police chief at Grønland Police Station said: "Getting six weapons away from the streets is a very important piece of police work."
Police made the findings during an examination of a rental apartment situated only 250 metres from the Grønland police headquarters.
