VIDEO: Spanish driver causes havoc in Belgium
A Spanish van driver has caused havoc in the Belgian city of Leuven after he repeatedly crashed into shop windows and walls while trying to reverse down a narrow street.
Shocked passers-by witnessed how the driver, who was reportedly drunk, struggled to reverse his van without hitting everything within reach.
One man trying to give him advice on how to get out of the narrow street nearly ended up under the wheel himself.
But once the dreadful driver made it out of the tight space, he backed his van straight into the wall between two shop windows.
That’s when a local man decided to take action, rushing towards the vehicle, breaking the window and stopping the drunken Spaniard from speeding off.
With the help of two other locals, the man was pulled out of his vehicle and pinned to the ground while police were called to the scene, Italy's Il Messagero reported.
