Pictures: Car rips wall off southern Sweden home
IN PICTURES: A car crashed so forcefully into a Lund home that it ripped the entire facade off the building. No one in the car or the house sustained any injuries.
The accident occurred in the early evening on Monday near Södra Sandby just outside of Lund, when a car careened off the road, across a garden, and into the front of a residential building. While the front part of the house collapsed and the car was badly damaged, the driver and the two residents who were inside the house escaped uninjured. IN PICTURES: See more from the scene "The house is extremely damaged. The patrol on the scene that large parts of the house have fallen in. Emergency services have propped up the house so it doesn't collapse," Marie Persson of the Skåne police told the Metro newspaper.
