French ski cross trio cleared to trouser medals
France's medal sweep in the Olympic Games men's freestyle ski cross competition, which was the subject of a bizarre argument over trousers, was allowed to stand on Sunday.
Canada and Slovenia had argued that the French team had made illegal alterations to the legs of the competitors' suits to improve their aerodynamic qualities.
But the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) threw out the protest on Sunday.
"The appeals are rejected," CAS secretary general Matthieu Reeb told AFP.
