The French embassy in London decided this week it could not take the latest round of "French bashing" from the Anglo media lying down. In ten points it argued that France is not 'turning into a tragedy' as suggested and why it is a great place to live and work. Read what they had to say here.

Responding to an article that labelled France as a "failed socialist experiment" that is "turning into a tragedy”, French diplomats in London felt they had to set the record straight. 

In an article posted on its website the embassy gave ten reasons why the future in France is bright and why criticism of the country is not just, especially when compared to the state of infrastructure in the UK like the "ailing" NHS.
