Dating agency Victoria Milan is advertising its services with an image of Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy kissing Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel under the slogan “100 percent discretion guaranteed. Even if you are cheating on a whole country”.

The company will be parading the new mobile billboard throughout the streets of Spain's capital in a bid to convince more Spaniards to join a naughty network with more than three millions users already.

The poster's topical slogan is accompanied by a picture of Spain with two bull horns, in reference to the Spanish expression poner los cuernos (Literal translation being "to put the horns on" but really meaning to cheat on someone).

It’s not the first time a dating agency has used high-profile figures to spice up their advertising campaigns.

Rival company Ashley Madison ran into problems in France after using images of the country’s last four presidents with lipstick kisses all over them under the message "What do they all have in common?".

Spain’s monarchs have also been the butt of some of their cheekiest joke campaigns.

In 2011, they used a photo of King Juan Carlos next to one of Prince Charles and Bill Clinton, suggesting "They should have used Ashley Madison", in reference to their widely publicized love affairs.

They then picked on Queen Sofía, seen on billboards hugging a handsome hunk under the message "No need to spend the night alone anymore".

The Spanish royal sued the company for user her image without her consent, but there was no stopping Ashley Madison.

In 2012, they used the controversial photo of Spain’s King standing rifle in hand in front of a dead elephant in Botswana under the slogan "The best place to hunt down an adventure", as in Spanish 'aventura' can also mean affair.
