When it comes to Swedish cinema, most people probably think of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Pippi Longstocking. But there's a lot more to it than that, argues Jan Göransson from the Swedish Film Institute. Check out his top ten.

Jan Göransson, who works as the head of press at the Swedish Film Institute, is a self-confessed film buff. But he admitted that despite his love of film, choosing the best ten Swedish movies of all time was extremely difficult.

But he managed. Here is his list, which spans exactly 100 years of Swedish cinema, and is in no particular order.
