Thorbjørn Jagland, who is also Secretary General of the Council of Europe, sent a letter to UK Home Office Minister Teresa May on Wednesday complaining about the detention of Brazilian citizen David Miranda, and the destruction of computer hard drives at the offices of the Guardian newspaper.
