"One person remains in intensive care. The others are in the general wards, mainly under observation," said Barbro Holmberg at travel agency Ving, the firm responsible for organizing the coach trip.

"None of them are in a critical condition," she added.

Ving hopes to be able to repatriate those affected by the crash, which occurred as the coach was heading back to their hotels in Alanya after an outing to the Taurus Mountains.

Two people died in the crash - a 15-year-old Swedish boy and a 68-year-old Danish woman.

Of the 27 on board, 13 were Swedes and the remainder were Danish and Norwegian.

The injured bus passengers were taken to three different hospitals following the crash and of the Swedish contingent, two were initially taken to intensive care.

The Swedish Foreign Ministry was informed about the accident and staff from the Consulate General in Istanbul travelled to Alanya on Saturday.

The driver of the coach was detained by police on the same day, according to a Turkish police source cited by the Aftonbladet daily.

Material from a security camera is reported to show how the coach approached a road junction at high speed and flipped on its side.
