New in theaters this week, Monsters University, a joyful computer-animated extravaganza in colorful 3D. The prequel to 2001’s wildly successful Monsters, Inc., this latest Pixar film stars Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and Frank Oz, all reprising their roles as loveable monsters tasked with popping out of closets and out from under beds to scare children. Set a decade before the previous film, Monsters University follows the furry crew during their student days, when Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan – the inseparable duo from Monsters, Inc. – first meet. Charming, funny and thoughtful, Monsters University is great entertainment for the whole family.
