Easter weather report: mild but changeable

Spain can expect spring temperatures and changeable weather during the Easter holidays, with the Atlantic zones to see the worst of the rain while the Canaries are expecting stable conditions.
Spain's weather agency AEMET is predicting mild temperatures and changeable spring weather for the peninsular during the 2013 Easter break. During the first half of the week from Saturday 23rd to March 26, the weather across the peninsular will be changeable as a series of fronts sweep in from the Atlantic. This will mean rainy spells interspersed with largely clear weather through much of the country. Temperatures will be average for this time of year, and snow will only be seen in high mountain zones The highest chance of rain in these days will be on the Atlantic coast, and the further east in the country you are, the lower the chances you'll see rain. The Balearic Islands will also be affected be by these fronts , but less so. The weather in the Canaries will be stable with few clouds. For the second half of the week — from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th — humid Atlantic-influenced conditions will still be the order of the day. For these days, Galicia is set to see the heaviest rainfall, while the very north of the country, the northeast, and the centre of Spain could also see some of the wet stuff. The rest of the country, however, can expect mostly dry conditions. Temperatures will be remain mild from Wednesday to Friday as well, says AEMET. Again, the weather in the Canaries is expected to stable.
