Four remanded after Stockholm bank raid
Four men were ordered held on remand on Sunday, on the suspicion of their involvement in Thursday's armed bank robbery in northern Stockholm.
The four men were all held on remand by the Attunda District Court. Two of them are suspected of robbing a bank in the suburb Täby on Thursday afternoon, with the other two suspected of complicity.
In the attempted robbery, the suspects crashed their car through the doors of a branch of the Handelsbanken bank, opening fire on police twice during their escape in a second vehicle.
The robbery led to a police chase through Stockholm outer-lying northern suburbs, followed by a lengthy manhunt after the suspects escaped on foot.
One of the suspects was arrested while waiting in line for his order at a roadside hamburger stand, according to the Expressen newspaper. The other was arrested after fleeing into the nearby woods in Bro, an area in the city's north-west.

On Sunday, prosecutor Ewa Tvengström announced the charge list for the men who were held.
A 35-year-old and a 24-year-old are being held on remand for aggravated attempted robbery and attempted murder. Another 35-year-old is being held for conspiring to aggravated attempted robbery, and a 39-year-old for protecting criminals.
In Thursday's chase, one of the police cars was hit by a bullet, but no officers were injured.
One of the 35-year-olds has a long record with the police already, including a prison stint in Norrtälje where he broke out with the help of armed and masked men in 2004.
He had been sentenced to six years behind bars for attempted murder, among other charges, in 2002.
