Turns and sudden brakes posed an extra challenge for the 34 models - including German star Micaela Schäfer - strutting their stuff in high heels on a moving underground train in Berlin on Wednesday evening.

The event was the seventh time Berlin Fashion Week has gone underground, with 400 passengers admiring new collections revealed by 17 labels and designers.

Music blasted from loudspeakers on the train as it travelled on its forty-five minute journey into eastern Berlin along the U5 line from Alexanderplatz.
