Competition: Win a flight with a Dutch celebrity

Travelling alone need not be a lonely experience. The person sitting next to you could turn out to be a great contact or an entertaining travelling companion.

That’s why KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have launched their ‘Meet & Seat’ service, which enables people who book a KLM flight to connect with fellow passengers who may be of interest to them. Passengers can share their Facebook or LinkedIn profile on a secure section of KLM.com, where they can also view the profiles of fellow passengers. Passengers who wish to hook up with one another can arrange adjacent seats.

Now, in an extension to ‘Meet and Seat’ you can join an online conversation with one of six Dutch celebrities and win a ticket to travel with one of them in real life. The online conversations with the six Dutch icons will reveal which contestant will be the best travelling companion in terms of shared interests. A total of six contestants will win a trip – one per participating celebrity.

The participating celebrities are: Armin van Buuren (the world’s best DJ), Ruud Gullit (football legend), Yfke Sturm (supermodel), Wubbo Ockels (astronaut), Jeroen Krabbé (Hollywood actor) and Hella Jongerius (designer).
