Men in police custody steal cop camera

Two German men suspected of stealing two sunglasses from a store in Darmstadt, stole a digital camera from the police car they were riding in on their way to be booked, the the police reported on Friday.
The two were so adept that the officers didn’t notice the theft until much later, police said.
But since the cops had already taken down the personal details of the men, aged 24 and 25, including their addresses and phone numbers, they knew exactly where to look to get their camera back.
The thieves were originally detained on Thursday by a store detective who said he caught them stealing the sunglasses.
