Hollande and Sarkozy set handover date

Outgoing French leader Nicolas Sarkozy will hand power to president-elect Francois Hollande on May 15, following talks between the two camps, the presidency announced on Monday.
The Socialist election winner's campaign director Pierre Moscovici agreed the date in a telephone call with Sarkozy's chief of staff Xavier Musca on Monday morning, the Elysee Palace told reporters.
